Peter Manning

Secretary

I'm grateful to be part of the Worker Bee Board and deeply believe in the organization's mission. As a veteran and NH resident, I hope to do my part to support those in our communities who have sacrificed to preserve our freedoms.

I grew up in western Massachusetts and attended UNH, where I was also enrolled as an ROTC cadet. I was commissioned into the US Army as an Infantry Officer in May, 2000 and spent the next 4 years on active duty in Germany and Iraq. I was later recalled to active duty for another year in 2007. Leaving the military, I pursued a career in commercial healthcare.

For the past 20 years, I’ve helped grow commercial and provider healthcare companies by selling the value of transformative technologies and clinical services that improve patient outcomes and support value-based care. In the process, I’ve built go-to-market strategies, launched new business units, and developed high-performance teams.

Outside of work, I volunteer as a mentor to service members transitioning from the military to civilian life through an NPO called American Corporate Partners. I'm also an executive board member for the Dempsey Center, an NPO in Maine that provides holistic supportive care services to people impacted by cancer.

My wife and I live in Windham, NH with our two daughters and soon-to-arrive new dog.  I'm a DIY'er that knows how to use a skill saw and speed square, but would definitely not consider myself speedy or skilled.
